Welcome to The Chinquapin School's project the senior class of 2005 composed. The information displayed on this website has been gathered through selective water quality testing around the lower San Jacinto River, research on invasive species affecting the environment around the lower San Jacinto, research and study of Highland's local watershed that feeds the river, the history of the Lower San Jacinto, and valuable research on habitat and wildlife that depends on this particular river.
