Alumni Association

Mission

In the Chinquapin spirit of "Quid Pro Quo", the Alumni Association exists to give back to the school by becoming involved with the current student body, keeping up with alumni news, obtaining donations for the annual Alumni Association Scholarship, and aiding the school in its fund-raising efforts.

Mentor Program

There are several Chinquapin alumni which currently serve as mentors to some of the Chinquapin students. The mentors usually attend one organized group event per quarter with their mentee and often times plan other events with their mentee. The following organized group events are tentatively scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic school year:

  • Sunday, October 14: mentor/mentee get to know you lunch
  • Friday, December 8: Christmas Dinner
  • Wednesday, April 18: Take your Mentee to Work Day

Participating in the mentor program is one way alumni choose to give back to the school. However, there are many other ways to live out the "Quid Pro Quo" spirit.
