This entry is entitled: "How To Treat Guests." Last night at the basketball game Alsa Bruno saw that the visiting team needed some water. With the help of Isaac and Elber Alsa filled and lugged a cooler of water and delivered it to the opposing team's bench. A special thanks also goes to our own Headmaster himself, Bill, for fetching a tractor in the cold of night to tow a stranded guest. Such fine displays of sportsmanship and courtesy requires special recognition. Thank you, gentlemen, for representing our school in such a high-class fashion.

Character wins the day! Yes, Dan Tax tossed an orange and broke a window. So why is he on the Bragging Page? Dan admitted the act and told a teacher immediately what happened and even offered to pay for the damage. Dan's display of character and responsibility is a perfect example of what we are trying to instill in you, our students. As a result of his honesty, Dan has gained a higher level of respect and trust among the faculty and will probably receive a better college recommendation. There is no text book on character, and we all have to figure out for ourselves how to act in such situations. For those of you wondering what you might do, pay attention to Dan; he's provided a good example.

Tonight some members of the JH volleyball team, while waiting for the varsity team to jog by and wish them luck, displayed extraordinary sportsmanship by giving high-5s to the opposing varsity team and wishing them luck. Although the Burritas lost two very well-played and close games, their best performance came after the contest was over. Thank you for reminding all in attendance the meaning of "class."
