The Chinquapin Social Studies Curriculum aims to spark the interest of students in subjects that cover eons of human culture and history. The social studies faculty asks students to investigate the human experience from the earliest records into the modern era. Students gain an understanding of history and culture within a global context. In addition, our students are introduced to basic principles of economics and the workings of our government. The end-goal is for the student to better understand his or her place in our ever-shrinking world.
